What's With Toe Rings?

Quoted from “Natural Home Health Care Using Essential Oils” by Dr. Daniel Penoel

In 1988, Rose-Marie and I were doing some careful research on the reflex points of the foot. One day as R-M was working on my feet, she was “attracted” to an area, which , to our knowledge, had not been described as having a specific connection to…psychological well being.

It is located at the base of the big toe, on its side facing the second toe. R-M massaged this point, found it was very tender and blocked (which is normal for a point which has never been treated before). She massaged these points on both feet, and I remember, that it triggered a profound state, a relaxation, a deep impression of “letting go” and “liberation of tensions”. I fell asleep immediately after and during the night, a sort of complete spiritual cleansing took place. When this area is unblocked, it is as if a hand was penetrating into the skull and massaging the whole mass of the brain to purify it and accomplish a natural and accelerated analysis or “foot reflex psychotherapy.”

We now call this point the Psy Point (sigh). Since then, we have had many opportunities to utilize this and discover its high value in even extreme cases.”

In 2003, After reading the above, the inspiration came to use gemstone “toe rings” to accomplish this foot massage and emotional clearing by wearing gemstones designed to work on this point. “Give yourself a psychotherapeutic foot massage, while wearing a fashionable attractive, inexpensive toe-ring.” Hey, it’s worth a try. At less than $8 for a set of rings, you can’t lose.

Pick the stones that you are attracted to. Perhaps read up on their qualities. Try a set of two. Starter has one 6 or 8 mm round gemstone surrounded by 10-12 tiny nuggets. Start by wearing it with the round stone on top of the toe on the second toe as close to the bottom as you can. The "advanced" rings have two 6 or 8mm stones along with the nuggets. Go barefoot or in sandals. If this is too uncomfortable, wait and wear it at night. Next, as you become accustomed, graduate to wearing the round stone, so that it presses into the base of the big toe.

The rings can also be worn on any toe that might need help or on the fingers. Available for $4 each or 2 for $7 or 3 for $9. Some of the available stones are: African Jade, Poppy Jasper, Carnelian, Sesame Jasper, Amazonite, Moss Agate, Indian Agate, Citrus Jade, Autumn Jasper, Howlite, Sodalite, Dark Horse Agate, Magnetic Hematite, Mahoghany Obsidian, Ocean Jasper, Red Jasper, Rainforest Jasper, Tiger Eye, Rose Quartz, Pyrite.
